Hawkins FIC2A1 vs FIC1A1

The Hawkins Futura FIC2A1 3600W Dual Hob Induction Cooktop is designed for users who want the speed and efficiency of induction cooking without being limited to a single cooking zone.

Its two independent induction zones allow users to prepare two dishes at the same time. The appliance delivers a maximum combined power of 3600W, while each individual zone can reach up to 2000W peak output. When both zones are used simultaneously, total output is intelligently managed within the 3600W maximum.

Each cooking zone provides 20 adjustable power levels from 100W to 2000W, giving users significantly more precise heat control than basic induction cookers. This allows gentle simmering, medium-heat cooking, frying and rapid boiling from the same appliance.

The FIC2A1 also includes a high-precision timer supporting cooking times of up to 6 hours, making it useful for both quick meals and recipes that require longer controlled cooking.

Safety and convenience features include Auto Cut-Off, Child Lock, Intelligent Boil-Dry Protection, Pan Detector, Pause Function, High Voltage Protection and Residual Heat Indicator. The residual heat system displays an “H” warning while a cooking zone remains at approximately 60°C or above after use.

The cooktop measures approximately 600 × 360 × 58mm and includes a 1.2-metre power cable. Its black low-profile design provides a clean, modern appearance suitable for apartments, family kitchens and modern countertop setups.

Overall, the Hawkins Futura FIC2A1 is a strong choice for customers who want two-zone induction cooking, powerful 3600W combined performance, precise power adjustment and comprehensive safety controls.
